First post - just learning to blog, learning to upload photos and learning to sew little dresses! So far so good - now to see if I can post anything and make it stick!
just me and 'parky' - or my constant companion "Parkinson's" is the title of my blog. Maybe parky just doesn't realize that I don't want him around (and yes, I think that parky is a male - he just doesn't grasp the cue or the concept that its time to leave) . Maybe, he doesn't understand that if I refuse to give in - I win.
Who knows, but this is my place to 'soundoff' against him and document his existence!
Now for the dress thing. Each post will show a new dress, skirt, etc. that I have made from 'vintage' patterns dating back to the early 1940's - 1970's. Hey while looking at them - I was caught off guard to realize that I am 'vintage' too.
But what I learned from sewing from these old patterns is, that what was right a long time ago is still right today.
so with that 'deep' thought, me and parky are going to do the 'shuffle' and go to bed. Night all.
